A few months ago, Tom joined our band. We finally got around to putting up an informative bio about our buddy. The following excerpt was written by Nick Minetola. He needs to write a book.

Tom Ryan is the sexiest man in Collingswood, NJ. It's not all hot nights and funny sexy-time for Tom though. Being that handsome is hard damn work. For example Tom can't shave. It's true, for maximum hotness Tom has to trim his facial hair to a perfect two day length. Also Tom spends hours each day staring in the mirror practicing saying "hey" with his eyes. Next time you run into Tom and you realize your pants are halfway off and you can't figure out why, well now you'll know, it's because his eyes told you to take them off. His beautiful , beautiful eyes.

From the Haddons, the Hills and the Heights of suburban New Jersey, comes It’s a King Thing. A band for boys and girls, late bloomers, nose pickers, pussies and procrastinators. Their songs can beat up your band’s songs.

One snowy night in February of 2010, the band released their album Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo to the internet, free of charge. Almost a year to the date later, the band successfully raised enough money, with the most ridiculous Kickstarter Project known to man, to fund a vinyl record of the album. It will be released in May of 2011.

The band has opened 2 sold out shows for The Lemonheads and in October of 2009 Philebrity defined It's a King Thing as one of the front runners in the upcoming boom of Philly music.
